HTML/CSS
In the lecture we learnt about HTML and CSS, in class this week we used a program called "text wrangler" to write a website, this piticular website was on icecream sandwiches. We had to use codes and patterns such as <>, {}, =, etc to write, we used color codes to color the page and font, etc. Hugly interesting and next week will look deeper into HTML.

Assessment Rationale
Olympic Hockey 2008
Target Market:
Hockey fans, people interested in following how the Australian Hockey Teams ( Hockeyroos and Kookaburras) went during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
Navigation:
Tumblr includes links, photos, quotes, dialogues, and video. This is not unlike any other blog site but I just found it simpler.
Video: linked videos from youtube to tumblr hockey blogsite
Quotes: included a motivational quote from Hockey Australia website
Photos: All photos are from the 2008 Beijing Olympic website
Process:
While researching Australian hockey results, I found that I couldn't find all the information in one place, my blog allows for this, it has details on all the preliminary round along with videos, photos and details on semi-finals and ranking results.
Layout:
Tumblr: There were many layouts to choose from but I went with the basic top-to-bottom scroll down layout, it gives flow to my web page as my blog is an ongoing feed with frequent updates. I went with a basic theme of only a few colors as not to distract the reader from the information.
Extras:
Major problem: I wanted my information in reverse chronological order, this problem was easily overcome by going into advanced setting and changing that dates on all my posts so that preliminary results were read first and semi-final results were last.
